Futuristic weapons needed for sci-fi film

Does any body know where u can get really over the top futuristic weapon like u saw in the Aliens film, Preferably on the cheap. Or how to make em, any info would be top,

Alternatively do a search on props (I found plenty of starwars etc ones.)

Hi Cash. I've got a suggestion for you, go to your local W.H Smiths and get a copy of Gun Mart. Go to the Airsoft section, there is an advert in for this shop which sells airsoft kits, an M-16 kit is only ?9.99,you could possibly modify that for what you need.

Much better ways are as follows:

Go to your local laser quest, ask them for old shells of guns. They give them away for the right reasons, and sometimes quite a few at a go too.

Or, fine some old mobile phones (dummies are best) and paint them black, strap bits of plastic pipe to them (one for handle, one for nozzle) and they look fine.

I'll show you some pics asap.

get a super soaker (you now, the ludicrously priced water guns) and some silver paint... this was said above.... but super soakers look way better... just tought it might help.

seriouly, though, find your local BB gun shop, and find a cool one with a lazer pointer on the top... then get that... stick a few its here and there and you have one great makeshfit gun o' the future!
